FOX Group Legal seeks an exceptional mid-level litigator to join its Content Protection Department. In this role, you will work on cutting-edge, technology-oriented, precedent-setting copyright litigation designed to protect film and television content from piracy in the digital age.
Working with FOX colleagues, as well as counterparts at other studios and industry groups, you will also help devise and implement strategies to protect FOX's film, television and new media content from infringement; manage legal issues relating to removing unauthorized FOX content from the internet; provide internal copyright and anti-piracy advice; and help create and implement the legal, technical, legislative, and negotiated solutions to tomorrow's piracy challenges worldwide.
We are seeking a successful top-tier law school graduate with at least 4 to 6 years of hands-on litigation experience at a top firm. The candidate must have a strong substantive background in copyright law and a passion for protecting copyright owners’ rights. Facility with the Internet and other emerging technologies is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Studio experience and international experience are preferred. California Bar admission (existing or planned) is required.
