Summary
LimeLife is seeking individuals with experience in testing games and applications. We are looking for detail oriented team-members who are passionate about a career in mobile phone games and applications! You'll leverage your experience to support product development efforts in delivering final product to multiple handsets and carriers. Roles & Responsibilities
•Test applications against Carrier and/or Qualcomm standards, application specification, and project test plans to generate clear, concise and reproducible bug reports.
•Creatively test for logic errors.
•Isolate, report and regress issues in the bug database — following Best Practices/QA Methodologies (clearly and accurately with steps required to repeat).
•Post tasks completed on a daily basis.
•Temporary position only, but will be considered for regular position as needs arise.
•40 hours per week with possibility of overtime, hourly pay rate.
•Experience in testing and QA in mobile game/application testing a plus.
•Responsible, dedicated, hardworking individual with a passion for quality products – both video games and applications.
•Ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines, to complete games from beginning to end in a timely manner.
•Strong attention to detail and strong work ethic.
•Results-driven team-player.
•Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
•Be a key member of a software development team responsible for programming mobile games and lifestyle applications.
•Perform core coding and development on wireless products for a wide range of mobile handsets.
•Debug code and make and test code fixes.
•Assist in application tests and preparation of technical documentation.
•Coordinate with the QA team for product testing and bug fixes.
•Adhere to defined coding standards, defined quality standards and project development processes including documentation, defect tracking, software configuration management, status reporting and QA processes.
Qualifications
•At least 1 year of programming experience with both Java and C.
•Wireless (J2ME, BREW, WAP, SMS) and entertainment software experience a huge plus.
•Solid understanding of software development processes, including software design and documentation standards.
•Prior experience with application testing and debugging.
•Good written communication skills.
•Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working both individually and as part of a team.
