Real Estate Legal Secretary (burlingame)

CARR McCLELLAN INGERSOLL THOMPSON & HORN is a 30-attorney law firm located in the heart of downtown Burlingame, California. We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and professional legal secretary to support a busy director and an associate in our Real Estate Department.
Responsibilities include: creating, editing and revising a high volume of real estate documents, including correspondence, leases and other legal documents as necessary; transcribing dictation; correspondence with clients via telephone, fax, and e-mail; coordinating attorney calendars; scheduling attorney-client appointments; creating, organizing and maintaining client files; time-entry; and other projects as necessary.
The ideal candidate has superior computer and word processing skills (including the use of MS Word Styles/Schemes), with a minimum typing speed of 60+ wpm. Candidate is a team player with a strong work ethic, and is able to prioritize projects. Candidate is extremely well-organized and detail-oriented, and is able to communicate confidently and professionally with clients.
Carr McClellan’s office is one block south of Burlingame Avenue; two blocks west of the Cal Trans train station; two blocks east of El Camino Real. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the dress code is “business casual.” Carr McClellan offers competitive salaries, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
