Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
Oversee the reception area at Meyer Sound, this includes timely and helpful handling of incoming calls and visitors, and sorting and distributing mail and faxes for approximately 250 in-house and off-site employees. Assist in managing the office by ordering office supplies, filing, checking on service schedules, general office organization and accurate data entry. Assist in the recruiting process by processing incoming resumes, scheduling interviews and starting background checks. Create various forms and spreadsheets and assist with special projects as requested. Perform varied tasks, as requested, to contribute to the overall efficient operation of the office.
Requirements:
Must have a college degree or equivalent and one year experience in an office environment. Must be familiar with word processing and spreadsheet software programs with database experience being a plus. Must be able to think on your feet, juggle everything from answering the phones to assisting the Director of Marketing, and maintain an outlook that is balanced somewhere between optimism and cheerful reality. Sense of humor appreciated.
