Lincoln Child Center enables vulnerable and emotionally troubled children and their families to lead independent and fulfilling lives. We are currently looking for dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to help our children navigate the challenges of being raised by their relatives. Responsibilities include providing interactive supervision of children (0-18) by ensuring a safe, healthy and therapeutic environment during support groups and recreation activities. Working with youth to ensure a dynamic program, responsive to their needs and interests.




Qualifications: High School diploma or GED and one (1) year of specific group experience with children in a therapeutic environment required; Recreation Leader training is encouraged; interest in working with at risk children/families and culturally diverse populations; ability to relate effectively and professionally with children, caregivers, supervisor, co-workers and staff; patience, enthusiasm, flexibility, creativity, dependability and strong listening skills; good written and verbal communication skills preferred.




Must be willing to work flexible hours that may include evenings/weekends, including the second and fourth Tuesday evenings of each month and periodic Friday evenings and/or Saturdays. This position is 5-10 hours each week and pays $11.00 an hour.
