First American Title Insurance Company seeks a claims attorney for its Northern California Regional Legal and Underwriting Department in its Oakland, CA office. The position involves analyzing coverage under title insurance policies, resolving title insurance policy claims and escrow claims, advising employees on title and escrow related issues, monitoring litigation, and interfacing with claimants, employees and company management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess at least 5 years of insurance claims handling experience and have an understanding of title insurance and claims procedures. The attorney will interact directly with claimants as well as employees and company management. Law degree and California Bar membership required.
