We are seeking a Nightlife Sales and Marketing Manager for an adult beverage client. This is an opportunity to get involved at the ground level with unlimited growth potential.
In this above-entry level position you will execute trade-specific marketing strategies in the on-premise arena for an innovative spirit. You are the brand representative or ‘face of the brand’ responsible for sales, new distribution, and consumer programming to a targeted cluster of retail accounts. The accounts are the trendy, hip, and chic restaurants and bars in and around the designated market area of San Francisco. Candidates with contacts at these target accounts will have a significant advantage.
In this competitive industry, your ability to foster and leverage relationships into new product placements is crucial. Core responsibilities include product introduction and sales, bar/wait-staff trainings, promotional team management, creative consumer promotions, and web-based report submissions. Once a new placement is set, you will support the placement through an average call frequency of 1x/week executing bartender/wait staff trainings, consumer product trial and sampling promotions, and overall tactical support designed to deplete inventory. You will then secure a re-order.
You will organize all promotional support materials through a local warehouse facility. You will have the training, tools, latest technology, and financial resources necessary to win. This full-time position comes with a competitive base salary, expense accounts (auto, trade, administrative), and a bonus structure based upon sales and performance.
You have prior beverage and/or marketing experience with a strong knowledge of the market area and the on-premise channel. A BA/BS degree is preferred but not mandatory. Strong communication and computer skills are a must. You have reliable transportation. You will work from your home office and report to our divisional office in Southern California. There is tremendous opportunity for advancement inside our agency, the client side, or the distributor partner.
