Clinic Registered Nurse (tenderloin)

Curry Senior Center, a Tenderloin based non-profit geriatric health and social services agency serving low-income older adults, seeks an experienced Clinic Registered Nurse. Curry Senior Center’s services include primary medical care, substance abuse treatment, mental health services, housing, community programs and congregate meals.

Primary Responsibilities



Provide intake assessments, triage for drop-in patients, conduct health screening and education to improve patient self care and counsel patients regarding health needs. Provide advocacy services, physician support and administer mass vaccinations when scheduled. May include home visits in Tenderloin and Central City and working with a multidisciplinary team.





Minimum Qualifications



Valid California RN license, ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information, HIPPA compliance, Eligible for NPI#, CPR Certificate and ability to work harmoniously with a highly diverse staff, including clients in close quarters. Ability to climb stairs and make home visits.



Compensation: Salary competitive with other non-profit organizations providing similar services.
