The San Francisco Bay Chapter of the Sierra Club in Berkeley, is expanding and seeks Activists to work on exciting, precedent setting Bay Area issues.
This position offers:
Training in telefundraising and grassroots environmental lobbying, advancement opportunity, and informative rewarding work. Permanent/part-time, 22 hours a week, and available Sunday thru Thursday, 5pm-10pm.
Starting salary is $11 per hour or $12,584 annually, plus quarterly bonuses. We offer one of the most comprehensive benefits packages for part-time employees in both the non-profit and corporate sector, like 3 weeks paid vacation the first year, 11 paid holidays, 10 paid sick days as well as a competitive healthcare package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Are you someone who is passionate about protecting our natural environment and is motivated to educate others about environmental issues? Are you articulate with strong communication skills?
